Pyjamas people or People in pyjamas…
Of course I had no idea what it was about. Basically, in Dublin there are neighbourhoods where people spend all day long dressed in pyjamas. They go to the store, to offices, to the social welfare office, they walk into pubs and who knows where else
It’s amazing how quickly people adapt to a new environment… Or am I strange?!
After only fifty days I began to occasionally catch myself thinking in English… After nine hours in the hairdressing salon, I would sometimes go to the children and talk in English or throw an English word into a sentence, even when writing a blog
