The Dublin Tech Summit (DTS) 2025, held on May 28–29 at the RDS in Ballsbridge, Dublin, brought together over 8,000 attendees, 250 international speakers, and more than 150 exhibitors from 75 countries. Under the theme “Hustle and Thrive,” the summit served as a nexus for entrepreneurs, technologists, and thought leaders to explore the forefront of technological innovation and its societal impacts.
The summit featured a diverse array of themes and tracks, each delving into critical areas shaping the tech landscape. Discussions centered on digital reinvention, AI and machine learning’s role in industry transformation, and the evolution of marketing technologies. Explorations into human machine collaboration, the future of work, and inclusive leadership highlighted the intersection of technology and human potential. This track focused on entrepreneurship, offering insights into building unicorns, strategic investments, and scaling into emerging markets. Attendees examined emerging technologies such as quantum computing, Web 3.0, blockchain, and the future of fintech. Sessions addressed cybersecurity challenges, data privacy, and building digital trust in an era of increasing threats.
The summit featured a lineup of esteemed speakers who provided valuable perspectives on various technological domains. Sarah Friar, CFO of OpenAI, discussed the company’s potential path toward an initial public offering (IPO), emphasizing the importance of internal readiness and market conditions. Stewart Copeland, founder and drummer of The Police, shared insights into creativity and innovation, drawing parallels between music and technology. Efua Akumanyi, Co-CTO of Coding Black Females, explored blockchain technology’s core concepts, development methodologies, and the opportunities and challenges in building on blockchain platforms. Nabanita Roy, Senior Manager of Data Science at EY and Women in AI Education Lead, discussed how generative AI is transforming natural language processing systems by automating complex tasks and deriving actionable insights.
DTS 2025 offered attendees hands-on experiences through various workshops and stages. The Founder Bootcamp provided a series of interactive workshops designed to equip entrepreneurs with tools and knowledge for fundraising, scaling operations, and leadership challenges. The Tech Hive Stage served as a deep tech exploration area where developers and engineers tackled complex challenges in AI, software development, and emerging technologies. The Workshop Stage focused on product and service solutions, providing hands-on demos, in-depth presentations, and interactive Q&A sessions addressing real-world challenges.

- Mint-Tek (The Prototype People) is a Galway-based company specializing in electronics and product design, prototype development, electronic manufacturing, 3D printing, and product blueprinting. Their compelling business motto, “We bring your idea from mind to model. You take it to the world,” reflects a clear commitment to supporting clients through every stage of the product development journey from initial concept to market-ready solution. With deep expertise in printed circuit board (PCB) design and manufacturing, Mint-Tek stands at the forefront of technological innovation, empowering clients to create high-specification prototypes with speed, precision, and cost-efficiency.
- Pluralsight is a U.S.-based technology workforce development company that offers online training for software developers, IT professionals, and creative technologists. Founded in 2004 by Aaron Skonnard, Keith Brown, Fritz Onion, and Bill Williams, the company is headquartered in Draper, Utah. Originally focused on classroom training, Pluralsight transitioned to online video courses in 2007 and has since expanded its offerings to include a comprehensive enterprise platform with skills assessments and hands-on learning modules. The platform provides a wide range of courses covering areas such as software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data science, and artificial intelligence. Pluralsight’s learning paths, skill assessments, and interactive labs are designed to help individuals and organizations enhance their technical skills. The company also offers instructor-led training and analytics tools for businesses to track progress and outcomes.
- One particularly engaging workshop focused on survival skills for digital transformation exploring how humans must adapt to thrive in an increasingly tech-driven world. Joanne Griffin from Skillnet delivered a thought-provoking session on how technology intersects with human vulnerabilities, especially our cognitive capacities and susceptibility to influence. She offered valuable insights into the ethical implications of rapid technological change and emphasized the importance of preserving human values in a world that is becoming ever more complex and ambiguous.
The highlight of the last day was regional Pitch Startup Finale 2025 supported by Pegasus Tech Ventures.
The finalists narrowed to 5 companies:
- Celtic Biotech is a Dublin-based biotechnology company pioneering the development of novel therapies for solid tumors and cancer-related pain, utilizing specialized proteins derived from snake venom. Their lead candidate, CB-24, is based on crotoxin, a compound extracted from the venom of the South American rattlesnake (Crotalus durissus terrificus), which has demonstrated selective toxicity to cancer cells in preclinical and early clinical studies.
- Binarii Labs is an innovative data security company headquartered at NovaUCD in Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 2021 by Steven Garner, Nigel Carter, Aidan Finn, and Ciarán McNamee, the company specializes in providing sovereign-first, zero-trust data protection solutions. Their mission is to enable enterprises particularly small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) to regain full control over their data, ensuring security, compliance, and business continuity.
- Mifundo is an Estonian fintech company founded in 2018 by Kaido Saar and Marko Käis. Headquartered in Tallinn, the company specializes in creating portable credit profiles that enable seamless cross-border lending across the European Union. By aggregating credit data from various EU countries and standardizing credit scores, Mifundo allows banks to assess foreign customers’ creditworthiness more accurately, reducing credit risk and enhancing financial inclusion.
- Nano-Tech S.p.A. is an innovative Italian company specializing in the development and production of advanced composite materials enhanced with nanotechnology. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Ascoli Piceno, Italy, Nano-Tech focuses on creating high-performance materials for applications in aerospace, automotive, defense, and other high-tech industries.
Beyond the sessions and workshops, DTS 2025 served as a vibrant platform for networking and collaboration. Attendees had the opportunity to network with diverse industry leaders in a dynamic tech showground. Evening events allowed participants to experience Dublin’s culture while fostering connections in a relaxed setting.
As the technology landscape continues to evolve, events like the Dublin Tech Summit are essential for uniting the innovators and thought leaders who are shaping the future.
